Winchester Model 1873, CAL: marked 32 WCF, MFG: 1886, SN: 211874, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/2'' octagon barrel, full mag. The straight grip wood stocks are very good, displaying multiple small contusions, nicks & dings. There is a tight 3 1/2'' hairline crack starting at the upper tang. The metal finish has toned to an uneven plum patina with remaining blue in protected areas & spots of wear to gun metal grey. The dust cover & loading gate are either a correct replacements or have had added blue finish. Bore is fair, dark, worn & rough from age & use, but with visible rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable buckhorn rear sight, with replaced adjustment blade & a blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth, crescent metal trapdoor buttplate. Consigner indicated rifle was gone through by a gunsmith. As a result, some minor parts & screws may have been replaced & adjustments may have been done. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
