Winchester Model 1886, CAL: marked 40-82 WCF, MFG: 1892, SN: 63762, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' barrel, full mag. The refinished straight grip wood stocks are very good, they display some minor surface scrapes, nicks & dings with (2) filled 3'' cracks. The metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rates 70% overall with spotty areas of loss & light rust pitting on the tube. The receiver, lever & hammer have remnants of case-coloring with faint tones & shadowing remaining with stippled initials ''S.W.K'' on the left side of the receiver. Bore is excellent & bright with defined rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable rear elevator sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth, crescent metal buttplate. A very nice example of a well restored 1886. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
