Thompson Center Arms Model Contender, CAL: 35 REM, MFG: 1967, SN: 122283, Break Action Single Shot Rifle, 17'' barrel. The flat pistol grip, cheeked wood stocks are excellent. The original finish on the lower portion of the stock has worn thin or likely got damp & was mostly removed, as it has a flatter appearance then the rest of the wood. There are some minor handling marks & contusions. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with the receiver & lever toning to a plum patina. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver mounted with a Leupold Vari-X Compact 3-9x scope. Buttstock carries a ventilated, brown rubber recoil pad. This custom package rifle is excellent & makes for a unique shooter.
