CJ Hamilton & Son - The Hamilton Rifle , Model: No. 27, Cal: .22 LR, MFG: 1906-30 SN: None, Falling Block, Break open Single Shot Rifle, 15'' round barrel. The wood stocks are good & solid, w/ a few small dings & scuffs to the original finish, which is showing some thinning & flaking. The original metal blue finish is 50%, with spots scattered rust pitting & speckling. Left side of receiver is marked '' THE HAMILTON RIFLE No 27/ 22 Cal. PATENTED OCT. 30, 1900- AUG 13, 1907/ MFG BY C.J. HAMILTON & SON/ PLYMOUTH, MICH. U.S.A.'' . Bore is fair, with visible rifling, but lots of roughness. Front blade & fixed rear sights. Stock correctly carries no buttplate. Missing rear screw retaining trigger guard.. Still a nice old scarce boys rifle. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 100 to 200
