Mossberg Model 44 US (B) Target Rifle, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1945-50, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 26'' heavy barrel. The flat oil finished, flat pistol grip wood stock is very good. It displays minor nicks & dings. The bottom of the plastic finger grip is cracked. The high polish refinish on metal rates 80% overall, but with speckling & haze throughout. Bore is very good. The receiver holds a Mossberg Microlock S-100 peep sight & the barrels holds a large globe front sight. The left side of the receiver has four screw filled holes & two open holes, likely from a previous scope mount. Buttstock carries a metal buttplate. Open sling stud holes.
