Colt Model 1878, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1886, SN: 20834, Break Action SxS Hammer Shotgun, 28'' laminated steel barrels. The checkered straight grip wood stock, with ebony tip inlay forearm, are good, they display with multiple surface scrapes, contusions, nicks & dings. The laminated steel pattern on the barrels has toned to a dark chocolate brown patina. The receiver & metal components have a similar finish. Bores are fair, dark & worn. The barrel holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate. DAC: 2'', DAH: 3'', LOP: 12 3/4''. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
