Star Arms Model 1858 Army, CAL: 44, MFG: 1858-67, SN: 5306, Percussion Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The wood grips are fair, possible replacements, with the metal proud to the wood. They display multiple contusions nicks & dings, with edge chips. The metal finish has worn to gun metal grey, with areas of brown patina. Bore is good, worn with age & has light pitting. Factory sights. Hammer cocks with trigger pull, small second trigger that sits in the trigger guard fires the gun. Action & cylinder timing function correctly. Unique & rare firearm.
