Savage, Super Sporter, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1928-40, SN: 8413, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 1/2'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, having been sanded & refinished. The toe has a small fill repair & the dowel insert above the trigger guard has been filled too. The restored metal blue finish rates 75% overall, with scuffs, scrapes, spotting & areas worn to metal grey. Bore is very good, with proud rifling, but appears rough throughout. The receiver has been tapped & drilled, it carries a set of scope bases. The barrel has a blank filled rear dovetail & ramp elevated blade front sight. Stock carries a SVG grooved metal buttplate. Sling studs present. Original ''30-06 Springfield''detachable mag, with a retention loop soldered to the bottom. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
