Winchester, Model 57 Target, .22 LONG R. Cal., MFG: 1928, SN: 5041, Bolt Action Rifle, Mag fed, 22'' barrel, with barrel band. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent & solid, with very minor handling marks & scuffs to the original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, 70% on the receiver, with additional loss on the barrel band & trigger guard which are toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. Military style target rifle, with correct Lyman peep sight, factory sling swivels, sling & ''Winchester'' stamped mag. Barrel fitted with standard front & folding leaf rear sights. Stock carries a checkered steel buttplate. An overall excellent condition rifle & very collectible. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
