A.H Fox, C Grade, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1913, SN: 20322, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 28'' barrels. This gun has been partially & professionally restored. The original, checkered round knob wood stock & forend are excellent. There are a couple small fill repairs on either side of the trigger guard, along with minor contusions & handling marks to the finish. The metal sits slightly proud to the wood around the trigger guard. The restored metal blue finish on the barrels rates 97%, with intermittent rust spotting. The receiver is worn to metal grey, with a thin aged patina. The entirety of the receiver, barrel ends, break lever, trigger guard, forend release lever & screws are all beautifully & tastefully engraved with game scenes & ornamental scroll work. Bores are excellent & bright. The solid, matted rib holds a single front bead. The stock carries a grooved buttplate, with a crack 2/3 through it.
