Terni, Model: M38 Carcano, Cal: 7.35x51mm, MFG: 1939, S/N: Q2237, bolt action rifle, 21'' Barrel, the straight wrist wood stock is very good with light nicks, dings, dents & wear from use/age, stock appears to have been lightly sanded & has a light oil finish, left side of stock is marked with S/N by buttplate & faint circle cartouche by sling bar, 1'' chip on top of stock by rear tang. The metal finish on the barrel rates 75% with spots of thinned bluing, the metal finish on the receiver rates 40% with spots of thinned bluing & brown patina. Left side of barrel is marked with S/N, ''SA'' in box, top of barrel is marked, crown over ''RE'', ''TERNI'', right side of barrel is marked, ''1939 XVII'', top of rear sight block marked, ''CAL.7,35''. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Barleycorn front sight, fixed V-notch rear sight, Metal trapdoor buttplate with cleaning rods inside, comes with period correct leather sling. The SA mark on the barrel means this was accepted into Finnish service. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 200 to 500
