Astra, Model 1921 (400), CAL: 9mm, MFG. 1921-50, SN: 13472, Semi Auto Pistol, 6'' barrel. This pistol was the standard issue sidearm in the Spanish Army during the Spanish Civil War & also saw service in Germany during World War II. Designed to be safe to fire with a simple blowback action unaided by any breech-locking devices. The pistol also featured an internal hammer & left sided combined slide lock/safety behind the trigger guard. The Astra marked checkered plastic grips are excellent, with handling wear. The metal blue finish is a mix of original & applied blue rating 85% overall, with small areas of cleaned pitting on the left side of the pistol. Stampings are clear. Bore is very good, but consistently rough throughout. Fixed notch & blade sights. Astra stamped 8 round detachable mag. Lanyard staple. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
