RARE Winchester, Model 90, Third Variation, CAL: 22 LONG R., MFG: 1919, SN:633995, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. Only 10% of this model were produced in single caliber LONG RIFLE, which adds a 50% increase in value amongst collectors. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent & solid, but there are several small contusions & dings on the stock. There are also other minor scratches & scuffs to the original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 90% on barrel, 20% on mag, while the blue on the receiver has flaked or worn mostly away & has developed a thin brown patina. Bore is good, but with spotty areas of roughness amongst strong rifling. The barrel holds the original adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. A very nice, original, & fairly rare Long R marked model 90. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
