J. Miller, Percussion Muzzleloader, CAL: 50, MFG: unknown, SN: NONE, Percussion Cap Black Powder Rifle, 32'' Heavy octagon barrel. Top of barrel carries the stamping, ''J MILLER JACKSONVILLE OREGON 1865''. The original straight grip wood stock is fair after a fully broken wrist repair. Stock had multiple cracks that appear glued, sanded & re-finished. Stock exhibits minor surface marks. The metal finish is fair with rust spotting, pitting & worn to a plum/rust tone on the entirety of the barrel & receiver. The trigger, trigger guard buttplate & forend cap are all gun metal gray, The Schuetzen buttplate has a layer of finish on it. The bore is fair, used & dark. Barrel is fitted with fixed buckhorn rear sight & arched blade front sight. Carries ramrod, with the middle thimble appearing to be a replacement. NO FFL Req - Value: 200 to 400
