RARE Special Order Winchester, Model 1873, 2nd model, 38 WCF Cal., MFG: 1881, SN: 69632, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. The special order XXX original wood stocks are excellent, displaying fabulous tiger striped grain. They carry the original finish, with an added protected layer. Finish shows some spotty haze to the stock & wear loss to the forend, along with few handling marks. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on the barrel & 70% on the receiver, with the finish on the mag tube worn to a thin brown patina. Fitted with an adjustable rear & silver blade front sights. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a widow's peak shotgun metal buttplate. Comes with a Cody Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. This is a fabulous presenting special order 1873 & is very desirable amongst collectors.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 12000 to 20000
