Marlin, Model Original Golden 39M Saddle Ring Carbine, .22 S. L. LR Cal., MFG. 1978, SN: 22250539, Lever Action Rifle, 20 1/4'' Round barrel, Full mag. The straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with very few handling marks to original finish. The stock & forend have been very nicely deep relief carved in the shape of patterns similar to typical checkering patterns, to add additional grip. The original metal blue finish rates 97%. Bore is excellent. Barrel mounted with factory folding leaf adjustable rear & hooded front sights. Stock carries a Marlin plastic buttplate. Marlin bullseye located in belly of the stock. Sling provisions carry a period leather sling. Gold trigger. Tight action. FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
