Marlin, Model 1892 .32 CF Cal. MFG. 1892, SN: 278995, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, but the stock has seen some light sanding around the wrist & a coat of finish has been added. There are numerous small nicks, contusions & scratches consistent with normal use. The wrist has a tiny sliver of wood missing from each side along the edge of the upper tang. The original blue metal finish remains at 40% on barrel, while the receiver & mag retain a thin brown patina. The lever & hammer show faint remains of case-colors. There are areas on barrel & lower tang that display scratches from scrubbing or aggressive cleaning. Mounted with standard rear sight missing elevator & a blade front sight. Upper tang & top of receiver each have ab extra screw where mounts for a scope may have once resided. Bore is good, but with some roughness & what might be a slight bulge about 8'' from end. Crescent metal buttplate. Tight action. A mostly original little shooter. FFL & C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
