Description

Marlin, Model 93 Carbine (Light Rifle) Second model 30-30 Cal. MFG. 1922-35, SN: 1195, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, 2/3rd mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, but the original finish is wearing thin on the forend & is mostly flaking off of the receiver. Despite the finish wear, there are very few nicks, scratches or contusions on both forend & stock. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & mag remains at 40%, while the case-hardened receiver & lever are mostly silver with the remains of case-colors toned to a thin brown patina. Mounted with a Marbles tang peep sight, a King folding full buckhorn rear sight missing the sliding sight adjustment panel & carbine front sight. Bore is very good. Has a Marlin hard rubber buttplate which has the toe broken off up to the lower screw. Magazine is missing the screw which ties it into the dovetail blank, but magazine remains solid, Tight action. Cool carbine/light rifle with upgraded sight combination. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
