Faur Le Page, 16 gauge, MFG. circa 1920, SN: None, Double SXS, 27 1/2'' barrels, Has Ejectors, Faur Le Page is a French firearms manufacturer established in Paris in 1717. Founded by Louis Pigny, the company remained in the same family until 1913, but changed names several times until again changed to Faur Le Page in 1865. The brand's unique & luxurious craftsmanship quickly gathered a royal & imperial clientele, in addition, commitments to the French Revolution enhanced the prestige of the brand. This example is finely engraved, with matching finely checkered walnut stock & forearm which are very good, solid & original. 90% blued barrels & barrel release lever, Case colored receiver, tangs & trigger guard. All the smaller metal parts, forearm iron, top lever, trigger guard, safety, screws heads, etc. are finely engraved. Double trigger, Very good bores, missing sling swivel in stock. Nice French double. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 750 to 1500
