Savage Arms Corp, Model Sporter 23B, CAL: 25-20, MFG: 1923-42, SN: 92516, Bolt Action Rifle, 25'' round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock, with schnabel forend, is excellent as having a professional quality refinish. The stock has been lightly sanded & nicely reoiled. The metal blue finish has worn gray, with some blue toning brown left in more protected areas. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a Lyman side mounted adjustable peep sight, with fold down aperture. The barrel carries a blank filled rear dovetail & a DW King front blade sight. Buttstock carries an original Savage smooth metal buttplate. Retains the original detachable mag. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
