Description

Remington, Model 17, 20 GA., MFG. 1926, SN: 36003, MOD choke, 28'' Matted solid rib barrel which was milled as part of the barrel rather than soldered on after the fact, Pump action, John Browning patent & the predecessor to the Ithaca 37 shotgun. The original wood stocks are very good+, solid & with original finish. It does have a couple of tight hairline cracks on either side of the wrist. Flat pistol grip, nicely done custom checkering on stock, Finish has some thinning along with numerous minor scuffs, contusions & scrapes, does have small nicks on the pistol grip. Metal is very good at 85% blue on the barrel & receiver, 50% on tube, Remington buttplate has a leather spacer installed between it & the stock. Bore is excellent. 13 3/8'' LOP. Nice looking 20 ga., which is nearly 100 years old. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 300 to 600
