Description

Standard Arms, Model G, .25 REM Cal., MFG. 1909-11, SN: 6676, Pump or Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Round barrel, The original wood stock is very good, with an elaborate cast brass forearm & buttplate. Stock carries the original finish, which has worn thin, with the remaining finish having crinkled with age & temp. The stock has oil soaked staining at wrist & carries numerous small scuffs, scratches & contusions. The factory metal blue finish is 70% thinning in areas to a light brown patina. Bore is very good. Factory rear sight & period front sight missing the bead. The first gas operated rifle in the USA, which can be converted to manual pump by turning valve. Interesting old rifle. Approximately 12,000 produced. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
