Precision Industries, Model Wildcat, .22 S.L.LR., MFG 1970's, SN: C000371, 17 1/4'' Round barrel, This rifle features a side break action to load & pump ejector. This early 3 digit rifle features a skeleton frame with real wood furniture rather than later examples with wood grain stamped plastic furniture. The original wood stocks are excellent, with excellent original finish & few minor scuffs or contusions. The receiver has a grey parkerized finish & is stamped ''Precision Ind. Arms Div. Oz. MO. USA''. The factory metal blue finish is 85% on barrel & upper rod. Bore is very good. Receiver carries a height adjusting rear sight & front blade sight. The top of the receiver & on the opposing side above barrel, which contain the pivoting axis for the side break, both carry hairline cracks in the metal. While they are both well above & not part of the chamber, buyer should consult a gunsmith before shooting or purchase as a non-shooting example. This is a rare & early example of an unusual boys single shot. FFL Req. - Value: 100 to 400
