Description

Winchester, Model 23 Classic, 28 GAUGE, MFG. 1986-87 (only made one year), SN: CL28-509E, Double Shotgun, 26'' matted rib barrel with white beads on front & mid rib, M/IC, 2 3/4'', LOP 14 3/8'', DAC 1 1/2'', DAH 2 1/8'', 6.46lbs, The checkered & capped pistol grip stocks are excellent & original, with original high gloss finish. The stock carries a gold inlayed medallion & the forearm has an ebony wedge at the tip. The engraved receiver & has a raised gold quail inlayed on the bottom & retains nearly all of its original blue. The is some thinning of the blue on the area around the forend release mechanism. Has accent gold lettering for the ''28'', ''SAFE'', & ''L & R'', along with a single gold selective trigger. Fitted with a solid black Winchester buttpad, Minty mirror bores. Untouched screws, Original hard case w/keys. Rare & collectible engraved Winchester 28 Gauge. FFL Req. - Value: 3000 to 6000
