Roberts Goose Gun, CAL: 8GA, MFG: 1880-1914, SN: 9055, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: Full, 36'' laminated steel barrels. The checkered flat pistol grip stocks are good & solid, having been sanded & refinished at one time. There are a couple minor grain cracks & edge chips. The laminated pattern on the barrels is visible, worn to a mix of metal gray & toned to a brown patina. The receiver has fully toned to a brown patina. The receiver, hammers, break lever & forend release lever all display hand engraved floral & decorative scroll work. Bores are good, with roughness & intermittent pitting. The solid rib holds a single front bead. Stock has a smooth metal widows peak buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
