Winchester, Model 1897 Take-Down, CAL: 16 GA, MFG: 1918, SN: 699696, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: Full, 2 3/4'', 28'' barrel. The original pistol grip stock & corncob forend are very good & solid. The stocks have small scrapes, scratches & contusions to the finish. The stocks carry the original finish, along with an added thin layer. The metal blue finish has worn or thinned to mostly gun metal gray, with remnants of about 20% in more protected areas. Bore is excellent. Barrel holds a single front bead. Stock carries the original buttplate. LOP 13 3/8''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
