Mortimer, London (1780-1835), Personal gun maker to King George III, 75 Caliber Black Powder Dueling Pistol, Damascus steel 19'' heavy octagon barrel, Unique captive ram rod system insured one would never loose it. Nicely engraved side plate, trigger guard, hammer & barrel accent. The hammer is in the shape of a fish, with fish trait engraving. Finely checkered grip on the single piece wood stock. Inlayed wood repair ahead of trigger guard, finely done long ago. Overall fabulous antique pistol which is very good & well above average considering its age.* Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
