Colt Model 1851 Navy Richards-Mason Conversion Revolver, .38 Cal., MFG 1850's- 1860's, SN: 2976, conversion to rimfire, 7 1/2'' barrel, Smooth wood grips show a repaired crack, sanded with a coat of finish. Metal is gray/brown with some dark areas on barrel near cylinder, Metal shows many nicks & contusions. Ejection tube has been repaired. Cylinder has navy battle scene, Bore is fair, This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, barrel, trigger guard & backstrap, The barrel has the one-line New York address, The lock-up is tight & the action functions well. Come with a very fine & detailed hand border stamped leather holster. Stamped on front ''Texas Jack Fredericksburg'' & rear stamped ''Cimarron FA Co. Made in Texas 51 Navy.''
