Tula, Model: M1891, Cal: 7.62x54mmR, MFG: 1916, S/N: N18830, bolt action rifle, 31 3/4'' barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is good with various nicks, ding, scratches, & wear from use/age. Faint Tula ''Hammer'' cartouche on right cheek of stock dated ''190?''. The metal finish 35 % overall, with a even thinned & worn bluing on the entire rifle. Top of the barrel is marked with the Tula Peter the great roll stamp, which started in 1912 to celebrate Tula's 200th year, ''1916'', S/N, ''S'' & other proof marks, left side of the barrel is marked with a ''SA'' in box stamp which indicates it was a Finnish captured rifle, which is pretty common for M1891 Mosin's, importer marks at end of barrel. S/N matched bolt. Bore is good, beginning to darken with lightly thinned rifling & roughness. Barleycorn front sight with the Konolavov rear sight marked with crossed out 4 to 12 on left side of base & 2 to 8 1/2 on right side of base, also 13 to 32 on back of ladder. Steel Butt plate worn gray with areas of patina & rust. Has dog collar canvas sling. Has cleaning rod. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
