S&W, Model FIRST MODEL Hand Ejector, .32-20 WIN, 4 Screw, Double Action Revolver, Mfg. 1899, SN: 117, 6 1/2'' barrel, Early 3 digit SN & first yr pistol. This revolver has rare British Proof Marks. The hard rubber checkered grips are excellent, The original nickel finish is 90% with peppered spotting, The case-hardened hammer & trigger have nice case-colors. Mechanically excellent. Bore is excellent, Comes with Smith & Wesson letter which confirms date of MFG & shipment to P. Bl Bekeart & Company of San Francisco CA. It also specifies the British proof marks must have been from a subsequent trip after shipment. Overall excellent & very collectible Early First model Hand Ejector.
