Description

Colt Model 1927, Cal. 45 ACP, MFG: 1927, Manufactured by Colt under contract in 1927 with the Argentine Government. The initial run of 10,000 firearms were manufactured in Hartford, later on made under the Hafdasa name in Argentina & became known as the Sistemma Model 1927. Marked on right side of slide ''EJERCITO ARGENTINO/COLT CAL. 45 MOD. 1927''. Frames are numbered internally, however, still have the Violent proof from Colt on trigger guard. Argentine proof marks on top of bbl. at chamber, No. 9256 SN on top of slide. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address/1897-1913 patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Checkered trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release & arched mainspring housing, lanyard loop on the frame heel, marked magazine ''6013''. Fitted with checkered plastic grips. Factory blue is 60%. Bore is very good. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
