Extremely Rare Brazilian ''IMBEL'' Project Colt, Model 1911 (Pistola 9 M973), Semi-Auto Pistol, 9mm Cal., MFG 1980's, SN: 24675, 5'' barrel, IMBEL acquired a MFG license for pistols in the US through Springfield Armory Inc., Sold under the Springfield Armory brand since 1985. It produces .380 ACP, 9mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and .45 ACP models. All Springfield Armory, Inc. 1911's with an ''IMBEL, Brazil'' stamp start on the IMBEL's production lines. The black plastic checkered grips are excellent, Blue finish on slide is 100%, Bore is excellent, Standard sights. Comes in original styrofoam molded box with paperwork, extra mag, cleaning tool & brush. Exceedingly Rare & Hard to find as not very many of these were produced. FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 4000
