Remington, Model 51 (15 serrations version), 32 Cal. (7.65 mm), Semi-Auto Pistol, Mfg. 1918-21, SN: PA62627, 3 1/4'' barrel. John Pedersen designed, He was instrumental in the design of many firearms for the Remington Arms Company. Marketed as a ''self aiming'' pocket pistol due to the advanced approach to ergonomics used by Pedersen. The aftermarket hard wood grips are excellent. The factory blue finish is 85% & thinning to edges. Top of the slide is matted between fixed sights, Right side is unusually stamped ''.32 675/2 TOM(SB?)ERO''. Bore is excellent, Factory caliber marked, Single stack mag, Tight action. This is a smooth personal carry & shooting pistol, which has become quite collectible, especially in this rarer .32 caliber. Approximately one out of every 8 Model 51's was in this caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
