Description

F.B. Radom VIS, Model P-35 (1911 style) Nazi Type II, Cal. 9MM, Semi-Auto, MFG: 1935-45, SN: H2616, 4 1/2'' barrel, Design was inspired by American firearms inventor John Browning's 9mm ''Browning GP'' pistol. The pistol bears many internal and external similarities to the famous Colt M1911A1, to the point that some parts are almost interchangeable (ie. frame, main spring, trigger, screws in the exact same places and kept in the same (non-metric) diameter etc.). Production of the Vis began at the Fabryka Broni arms factory in Radom in 1935, & was adopted as the standard handgun of the Polish Army the following year. The pistol was valued by the Germans & towards the end of the war issued to German paratroopers. This pistol has Nazi markings. Plastic checkered grips are very good, left grip is missing part of bottom, break was smoothed out. Original metal blue finish is 90%, Pistol shows use, tiny dings & mars from service history, Bore is very good. FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
