Marked on top flat, '' SHILOH - SHARPS MODEL 1874 - CALIBER .45 2 1/10''. Left side of receiver: ''SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. - BIG TIMBER. MONTANA''. Modern rifle in as new condition, Schnabel style forend. The premium fiddleback striped grain American walnut hand rubbed oil finished stocks are excellent, with just a few light surface scratches. The stock carries & case-hardened crescent military style steel buttplate. Front sight is silver blade. Rear sight is buckhorn w/ flip up elevator numbered 2 to 8. The barrel & other metal surfaces are as new. The receiver & lever carry vivid case-colors. Bore is as new, possibly never fired. Adjustable double set triggers. This is a gorgeous rifle with wonderful wood grain & beautiful case-colors. FFL Req - Value: 2000 to 4000
