Winchester Model 1886, CAL: 40-65 WCF, MFG: 1894, SN: 86604, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Octagon barrel. Full Mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid. The stocks carry the original finish which is thinning from use, with multiple small contusions, scratches & blemishes. The wrist carries two 1/2'' tight hairline cracks & some spots of staining. The metal blue finish is faded to a gun metal grey on the barrel, with some finish toning brown on the mag tube. The receiver, lever action, forend cap & buttplate, have also worn mostly gun metal gray, with some faded case-colors remaining in protected areas. The barrel, receiver & mag all have small areas of speckling, pitting or metal scarring. Bore is very good, but with intermittent spotting. Barrel is fitted with original adjustable rear & front sights. Original crescent metal buttplate. Crisp tight action. Antique NO FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
