Marlin, Model 1893 Take-down Rifle, marked 32-40 Cal., MFG. 1907, SN: 381853, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Full octagon barrel, Marked ''SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL''. Full mag., The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. The original finish is very good with some thinning in the area of the forearm belly from carry. There are a few minor contusions or scuffs. The original metal blue finish is retained at approximately 95% on the barrel & mag. The case-hardened receiver, lever & hammer display muted, but fully present case-colors. The stock carries the original crescent metal buttplate. Barrel carries an original adjustable rear sight & an extra tall Rocky Mountain style front blade sight. Action remains tight & smooth. Bore is excellent. A rare take-down rifle in high original collector's condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
