Marlin, Model 1893, marked 32-40 Cal., MFG. 1893-97, SN: A1861, Black Powder Lever Action Rifle, 26'' round barrel, Full mag., The original wood stocks are very good & solid. The original finish has mostly worn off from use, with numerous minor contusions or scuffs. The original metal blue finish is retained at approximately 25% on the barrel, mag & receiver, the balance toning to a brownish/green patina. The lever retains areas of faded case-colors in protected areas. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Barrel carries an original adjustable rear sight & a blade front sight. Action remains tight & smooth. Bore is good with strong rifling. A nice example of an original Black Powder marked 1893. Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
