Marlin, Model 1893 SRC, marked 32-40 Cal., MFG. 1906, SN: 336517, Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, 20'' round barrel, Full mag., One of only 4086 produced. Original wood is very good & solid, with original finish thinning from normal use. There are small handling marks, scuffs & contusions. Some natural shrinkage & staining at toe of buttplate. The metal surfaces have toned mostly gun metal gray with a thin layer of brown patina & some remains of original blue in protected areas. Stock carries a carbine metal buttplate. Mounted with a receiver tang sight, updated Marbles folding rear sight & standard front carbine sight. Original saddle ring. Tight action. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Nice original condition saddle ring carbine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 750 to 1500
