Savage Model 1899, CAL: 30-30, MFG: 1913, SN: 142947, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' tapered octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are good, but carry a unique & custom toe repair. The stocks have been lightly sanded & refinished, with small contusions, dull spots & a sanded area around the toe repair. The metal blue finish is 50% on the barrel toning gray, while the receiver & lever carry 20% of patina toning to a plum/brown. Bore is good, but worn & dark. The rifle is fitted with a Lyman flip-up peep sight, folding two leaf rear sight & folding globe front sight. Smooth crescent metal buttplate. Shot counter on receiver.
