Winchester, Model 1905 S.L., marked 35 Cal., MFG. 1906, SN: 11965, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Round barrel, Wood stocks are original & good, but the forearm does have four hairline cracks & one larger crack, which is typical of virtually all of these Winchester semi-autos. The stocks have been lightly sanded & refinished, giving them a nice appearance, with some remaining dings & scratches. The original metal blue finish remains at is 70% on all surfaces, with spotty loss on the left side of receiver. Metal buttplate is a bit proud at the toe & along one edge. Bore is very good. Standard front & rear sights. Sling swivels. 5 shot magazine. Less than 30,000 total production between 1905 & 1924. Nice overall appearance. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
