Winchester, Model 1905 S.L., marked 32 Cal., MFG. 1906, SN: 16125, 2nd year rifle. Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' Round barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are fair to good. The stock has a 2 1/2'' toe chip & a large 2'' contusion on the left side near the toe. The stock also has a couple of hairline cracks at the wrist against the receiver. The forend is solid after the glued repair of two full length cracks to the left & belly, which is typical of virtually all of these Winchester semi-autos. The forend also carries a non-professional refinish. Metal blue finish has thinned to a mostly transparent brown patina layer. Stock carries a well worn Winchester hard plastic buttplate, Bore is good, with strong rifling. Barrel carries an adjustable buckhorn rear sight & a front sight with an ivory bead. 5 shot --.32 CAL.-- marked magazine. Less than 30,000 total production, with a smaller percentage of those being .32 cal. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
