Remington Model 14, marked 25 REM, MFG: 1918, SN:59187, Pump Action Rifle, 21 3/4'' round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid, but do have three 1 to 2'' hairline cracks where the stock meets the receiver & a 3'' crack at the forend tip. The stocks carry the original finish with some added oils. They also exhibit some contusions, scratches & darkening from use. The original metal blue finish is 40% on barrel, 50% on receiver & 30% on tube. Majority of blue loss coming from honest wear, aging & surface blemishes. Bore is very good. Original Remington teardrop shotgun metal buttplate. Barrel fitted with an original wheel adjusting rear & standard front sights. Stamped brass cartridge head inlaid on the left side of the receiver. Small brazed repair to pump action guide rail where screw fastener meets receiver. An original small caliber pump rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
