E. Remington & Sons Model Rolling Block, CAL: 45-70, MFG: 1868-1888, SN: NONE, Rolling Block Single Shot Rifle, 31 1/2'' round barrel. The custom straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid, with a raised cheek on left side. They carry a high gloss finish, with a few small contusions & one longer finish scratch to the stock. The metal has been re-blued & is 95% on the barrel & 85% on the receiver with spotting & surface blemishers. Bore is very good with defined rifling. Buttstock carries a brass half Schuetzen buttplate. The rifle is fitted with full buckhorn adjustable rear sight & period front sight. Antique, NO FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
