CASED Browning (Belgium) Model SA-22 Grade III, CAL: 22 L.R, MFG: 1972, SN:72T69734, Semi Auto Rifle, 20'' round barrel. The deluxe black walnut, high-gloss, hand cut, skip line checkered, flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying no defects to the wood & very light surface blemishes to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel is 99% with the receiver also holding 99% of its satin nickel finish. Bore is basically mint. The receiver carries eye-catching & finely detailed deep relief hand engraving of the typical grade III scene of a dog chasing two pheasants on left, a dog chasing three mallards on right & a dog's head on top of receiver. The engraving is crisp & clean, with a black background. Engraver signed on left side of receiver. Metal buttplate. Barrel is fitted with factory sights. Gold colored trigger. Comes in a correct period Browning Airways case in very good condition, but some minor scuffs. In excellent overall condition & a rare collectible.* FFL Req. - Value: 4000 to 6000
