CASED Browning (Belgium) Model SA-22 Grade II, CAL: 22 L.R, MFG: 1971, SN:71T64568, Semi Auto Rifle, 19'' round barrel. The deluxe black walnut, high-gloss, checkered, flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying a single 1/2'' contusion on the buttstock with virtually no other defects to the wood & very light surface blemishes to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel is 99%, with the receiver also holding 99% of its satin nickel high gloss finish. Bore is mint. The left side of the receiver displays hand engraving of two ground hogs. with a grass background & floral accents. The right side displays two squirrels in tree setting, floral accents. The top of the receiver displays a single flying duck with similar floral accents. The entirety of the engraving is crisp & clean. Metal buttplate. Barrel has a adjustable flip up rear & blade front sight. Gold colored trigger. Comes in a correct period Browning Airways case in excellent condition. Set is in excellent overall condition.
