RARE BOXED, Winchester Model 62 SPECIAL GALLERY, marked 22 SHORT, MFG.1956, SN:379717, Pump Action Rifle, 23'' round barrel, Take-down. Original factory straight grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. The original finish excellent with virtually zero defects. The original metal blue finish is fully retained at 99%+ on barrel, receiver & gallery tube. The loading tube carries a rare short triangle shape slot. Another nice addition to this quality 62 Special Gallery is a very crisp & full, red ''Winchester Trade Mark'' imprint on the left side of the receiver. Bore is basically mint. The barrel is fitted with original sights. Original buttplate. Label stamped ''SPECIAL''. Comes with original, correctly SN box, with dividers, wrapping paper & brochure. An excellent & rare, highly collectible boxed rifle. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 3000 to 5000
