Remington Model 12-A, marked .22 SHORT, LONG or LONG RIFLE, MFG: N/A, SN:554332, Pump Action Rifle, 22'' round barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stock is a replacement from a 12C. It has been heavily sanded removing a significant amount of wood, especially at the wrist. The stock has a couple of crack repairs & filler has been used to repair a large chip at the wrist & on forearm. Both the stock & forend carry a shiny refinish over numerous small contusions & scratches. The metal surfaces have a modern re-nickel which remains at 95%. The nickel carries even coverage of numerous tiny surface scratches. The bore is fair, dark, worn & with roughness, but does have visible rifling. Replaced front & rear sights. Crescent metal buttplate. Tight action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
