J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co., Stevens Favorite No. 17, marked 25-STEVENS, MFG:1894, SN:407, Falling Block, Take-down, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 24'' octagon/round barrel. The walnut stocks are excellent, with the original finish. They display minor contusions & scrapes with some thinning to the finish. The original metal blue finish is 70% on barrel. The receiver & trigger guard are mostly a gun metal gray with a thin layer of brown patina. Bore is excellent & bright. Original black Stevens Favorite buttplate. Original blade front & open adjustable rear sight. Replaced lever retention screw. Nice example. No FFL Req - Value: 250 to 500
