Winchester Model 68, 22 SHORT- LONG AND LONG RIFLE, MFG: 1934-46, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle, 27'' round barrel. Original flat pistol grip wood stock, with finger groove forend is excellent with virtually no defects to the wood or finish. The finish appears original, but the buttplate does fit slightly proud around all edges. If refinished, it is of professional restoration quality. Factory metal blue finish is 98% overall with very minimal wear near bolt action. Trigger guard carries 60% of a brown patina. Bore is excellent & bright with crisp rifling. Barrel is fitted with a wheel adjusting rear sight with aperture disc & a ramp style front sight. Winchester black checkered buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
